Welcome to Our Home
It's warm, and dry, with bright blue skies, and mountains all around us. Here we both work hard to keep Ellie's garden blooming beautifully and making our whole home a delight to our eyes. This is also where Ellie cooks and serves meals fit for royalty, while Ken throws in a barbecued brisket once in awhile, or a pan of 'Stuff on a Shingle" to warm the gullet when the royalty is not around.
We thought we would use this web site to show off our flowers from time to time, post a few recipes we think are pretty good, and post an entertaining story or two gleaned from our ordinary lives, the ordinary places we've been, and the exciting times of moving our homes and our families to new towns, new friends, and new jobs.
We'll also tell you how we met again after more than sixty years, fell in love immediately, and married soon thereafter. (A sneak peak: It wasn't even Sadie Hawkins day, but Ellie called me!)
We'll just try to make it a nice place to visit and reminisce with us.
